The United Methodist Church Foundation exists to serve God by encouraging stewardship as a way of life, and upholding the missions and ministries of The United Methodist Church in the world. The Foundation encourages faithful stewardship by:
- Managing funds entrusted to it in an effective and socially responsible manner,
- Educating people in appropriate financial management techniques,
- Providing investment opportunities for planned giving,
- Encouraging individuals to be good stewards,
- Striving for excellence and continuous improvement in its operation,
- Operating with the highest moral and ethical standards.
In the fulfillment of this mission the Foundation seeks to serve the Church by offering investment opportunities that are socially screened and diversified in ways that an investor may not otherwise be able to achieve. The Foundation also seeks to build the endowment for future ministries at the general and worldwide level of the Church through development and planned giving. |
