The United Methodist Archives and History Endowment Fund
The United Methodist Church Celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Social Creed. There us a rich and full history with its roots in John Wesley and the 18th Century Evangelical Revival movement, plus early American Methodism, Evangelical and United Brethren History. The General Commission on Archives and History facilitates the preservation of our rich history. If you are a scholar or a local church historian or even an amateur genealogist, you can gain access to a wealth of resources and research offered by the Commission.
There is no better time than during our celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Social Creed to remind us of the importance of ensuring the preservation of the history of The United Methodist Church. We must make certain that the Commission can carry out its mission, especially to the 21st century church with its fast advancing technologies and increasing global presence.
The United Methodist Archives and History Endowment Fund was established in 2007 to ensure that the ministry and work of the GCAH continues.
Because gifts to the endowment fund are tax deductible, there are a number of planning opportunities by which you can reduce your personal taxes while making your gift go even farther. There are no minimum or maximum restrictions on the amount of the gift.
You can ensure the continued ministry of GCAH in many ways and amounts to help you in the fulfillment of your stewardship commitment.
Now your commitment can live beyond your lifetime and ensure that our values and mission will live far into the future. Yes, I want to Give Now to this fund.
